Campervan Shows: Cooking Demo, Special Vans and Gorgeous Smells at The Harrogate Motorhome Show, Yorkshire

Last Weekend, Glyn and I went north to beautiful Yorkshire as I was giving a campervan cooking demo at The Harrogate Motorhome Show. There were some unusual vehicles at the show and we inevitably bought new bits of kit for the van at the stalls. We arrived a couple of days early to explore the area a bit first and really enjoyed our day in Harrogate (serious cake as you will see later)….

Quest for a New Campervan : Which Van is Best?

So which van have we decided on in the end? Well, this was all becoming a bit of a Grand Design and to get to that decision (which to date is still not set in stone) we have had to follow a long research road that has had lots of twists and turns. Everybody you speak to seems to throw another consideration in to the mix which sometimes seems to confuse the question more. It really is like buying a new house and secretly I am loving every minuteā€¦

Health benefits of parsnip

Who would have thought that parsnips were such superstars! When I am doing mashed potato in our van (and at home) I sometimes like to add a parsnip, sweet potato or carrot which gives the mash a great colour and also adds to the taste and nutrition.
